Prepare, review, and maintain sales contracts, proposals, and other crucial sales documents.
Data Management:
Accurately enter and update customer information, sales data, and leads into a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Reporting:
Generate regular sales reports, analyses, and forecasts to help the Sales Director track performance against targets. This includes reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and customer acquisition.
Scheduling and Coordination:
Manage the Sales Director's calendar, schedule meetings with clients and internal teams, and coordinate travel arrangements.
2. Client and Customer Interaction:
Point of Contact:
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing excellent customer service.
Order Processing:
Oversee the entire order-to-delivery process, from receiving a purchase order to coordinating with logistics and finance to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Issue Resolution:
Proactively identify and resolve customer issues related to orders, billing, or product availability, escalating complex problems to the Sales Director when necessary.
3. Sales Team Collaboration:
Team Support:
Provide direct support to the sales team by preparing presentations, managing sales materials, and ensuring they have all the necessary resources to close deals.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing, finance, and product teams) to streamline communication and resolve cross-functional issues.
Training and Onboarding:
Assist in the onboarding of new sales team members by providing them with necessary documentation, training materials, and system access.
4. Strategic Support to the Sales Director:
Market Research:
Conduct basic market research and competitive analysis to provide the Sales Director with insights into market trends and opportunities.
Performance Monitoring:
Help the Sales Director monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets, providing regular updates on team and individual performance.
Project Management:
Assist in the planning and execution of sales projects, campaigns, and events.
Pipeline Management:
Help the Sales Director manage the sales pipeline by tracking the progress of leads and opportunities, ensuring they move efficiently through the sales funnel.
