You will be working as Sales Specialist and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Marketing & Sales Manager. You will be primarily responsible for sales of products/ systems/ services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. Building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identifying and developing sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • Understanding market size and trends, deep dive into the key technology trends, analyze customer needs and pains and translate customer needs to ABB solution opportunities
  • Creating added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach. Communicating details in accordance with ABB supply, offering and strategy
  • Performing product life cycle analysis with various internal organizations and position service sales according to the installed base service requirements
  • Performing regular customer feedback surveys to establish customer connectivity and to register expectations from the operations
  • Developing well targeted strategies and sales plans and short term and long-term profitable growth strategy for the segment
  • Working closely with account managers for positioning the right/ optimum solution to customer and techno-commercial evaluation of vendor offers at pre-bid stage
  • Supporting account managers for managing existing installed base and also new customer development and follow up quotations, commercial negotiations and persuade/ convince customer to place the order with us
Your background
  • Graduate or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic engineering
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in sales
  • Experience in sales or service in high-capacity EOT cranes or automation solutions will be preferred
  • Engineering or commissioning experience in EOT cranes along with sales or service experience will be desirable
