This is a Sales Specialist role will be reporting to Sales Manager in Process Automation Business Area, based in Peenya, Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • Sells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Divisions.
  • Establishing and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution.
  • Preparing sales plans using company tools and performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
  • Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.
  • Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
  • Identifying and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
  • Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
Your background
  • BE Electronics / Instrumentation with 8 + yrs experience in Power generation with at least 5 years of experience in System Sales & Marketing.
  • Prior experience of selling Similar solutions to the Power Market in India, which Include NTPC, State Electricity Boards, Power Plant EPC's, Other Third-Party EPC's / OEM's operating in the Power Market will be preferred.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of DCS / PLC, SCADA and Instrumentation Product.
  • Understanding of Thermal business and capability to improve and drive DCS sales to the next level .
  • Good cross-cultural communication and Negotiation skills and Strong customer focus and build customer relationship.
