This position is of a Sales Operations Executive. Based in MUMBAI, the position will report to the National Key Accounts Manager- Food Manufacturers business, and will have the responsibility of supporting the plans and implementation of sales activities, products and programs to select corporate (CA) and non-corporate accounts (NCA). The role holder acts as the internal liaison between sales account managers, pricing and customer service toward customer stakeholders, and will provide direct support to Account Managers to meet the annual sales objectives.


Key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Provide historical sales data to customers and sales team
  • Contract Management, Solving pricing issues/ invoice queries, actively manage aged stock list and push sales directly or through account team
  • Manage the customer’s contract portfolio (closures, extensions, new item additions, volume transfers)
  • Manage communication with customer orders and contracts etc.
  • Monitor the status of sales administration activities to identify problem areas and adapt procedures to improve the overall performance of the team
  • Coordinate and participate in conference calls between BC internal departments and customers
  • Participate as member of FM Accounts sales action team for resolution of issues with BC Quality, OSCO, etc.
  • Provide guidance and resolution to Customer Service for escalated issues related to customer orders, pricing and complaints to ensure service excellence
  • Assist in investigation of contract related payment delays

Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office package, specifically Excel
  • Experience with SAP and/or Sales Force platform a plus
  • At least 5 years’ experiences in managing sales operations activities and customer services
  • Understanding of end-to-end sales operational flow cycle
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience in streamlining business operations processes
