Job Profile As a Sales Officer in the General/ Modern Trade department, you will play a key role in driving sales and expanding market share for our products. You will work closely with wholesalers, distributors, and retailers to ensure optimal product availability and visibility. Role & responsibilities Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and retailers
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and providing
Support as needed with regular field visits
Sales Planning and Execution:
Create and carry out sales strategies to meet goals, track sales performance indicators, and examine data to spot patterns.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop promotional strategies, pricing policies, and trade incentives to drive sales growth
Channel Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels at wholesalers, distributors, and retailers to prevent stockouts and minimize waste
Market Intelligence:
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform sales and marketing strategies
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses of their accounts
Preferred candidate profile
FMCG background is preferred.
At least 1 year of sales experience in General trade/Modern trade or Institutional sale.
Proven experience in sales role, preferably in the FMCG industry
