The Sales Officer - MICE will be responsible for generating and closing business for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE). The role involves lead generation, client engagement, proposal coordination, and revenue growth through corporate, institutional, and event-related clients, while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and generate leads for MICE events (corporate meetings, conferences, incentive tours, exhibitions).
Reach out to corporates, associations, event planners, chambers, and institutions via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and virtual meetings.
Understand client requirements and pitch suitable MICE solutions.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Follow up on enquiries, negotiations, and closures.
Proposals & Coordination
Prepare and share proposals, quotations, and presentations in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
Ensure timely submission of proposals.
Revenue & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Track sales pipeline, conversions, and client feedback.
Upsell and cross-sell MICE services where applicable.
Reporting & CRM
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and closures in CRM or tracking sheets.
Share regular sales reports and market insights with management.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of MICE industry, corporate travel, or event management.
Ability to work independently in a WFH setup.
Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, CRM tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
Result-oriented with strong follow-up discipline.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate or Postgraduate (MBA/Travel & Tourism/Event Management preferred).
1-3 years of experience in MICE sales, corporate sales, travel, or event management.

Fixed salary + performance-based incentives (as per company policy).
