Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE/JOB:-
To promote products and services to customers and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximizing profits.
IMPORTANT JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • The candidate will be responsible for achieving pre-agreed sales targets and for maintaining retailer/distributor relationships within an assigned territory.
  • Visit the assigned market on a daily basis and punch orders in the company-specified application.
  • Stay updated with industry trends; engage your customers, address their business challenges, and propose solutions.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly individual sales goals.
  • Develop a repeat-business customer base in order to regularly communicate upcoming events to increase sales.
  • Ensure displays are according to high-quality/brand standards & guidelines.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments for keeping receivables under control.
  • Cross-sell and upsell in all the categories of products.
  • New market development.
  • Assemble stock according to the orders punched for delivery on a daily basis post returning from the market.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, IF ANY: - Check and cash collection from retailers/distributors
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: REPORT TO: Head - Sales
SPECIALISED SKILL SETS:
