: As the Sales Manager for Retail Sales in the CREDIT CARD division, you will play a crucial role in driving the bank's credit card business forward. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing sales strategies, motivating and mentoring your team, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Retail Sales Executives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase credit card acquisitions and enhance market share.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including branch managers and partners, to drive cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and bank policies, maintaining a high standard of ethical conduct.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the product knowledge and selling skills of the sales team.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop innovative sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular performance feedback to team members, conducting performance appraisals and identifying areas for development.
  • Represent the bank at industry events and conferences, building the bank's reputation and network in the credit card market.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using sales management tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes as required.
