We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the steel manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within assigned regions or market segments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market share in steel products (e.g., structural steel, coils, pipes, bars, etc.).
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Manage and support the sales team to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior management.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company's brand and products.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit margins.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of steel products, applications, and industry standards.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and sales reporting tools.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Attributes
Existing client base in the construction, infrastructure, automotive, or industrial sectors.
Experience working with government tenders and large-scale
