- Sales Head (Fire Fighting Industry)Position Overview
The
Sales Head
is responsible for driving business growth, expanding market presence, and leading the sales team for fire-fighting systems and fire safety solutions. The role involves developing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring the successful achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. The Sales Head must have strong technical knowledge of fire-fighting systems, IS/NBC standards, and project execution processes.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities in hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, pump rooms, and suppression systems.
Expand business in industrial, commercial, residential, and government sectors.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Manage and enhance relationships with key clients, consultants, PMCs, architects, and builders.
Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and technical discussions.
Ensure effective communication and timely resolution of client concerns.
3. Team Leadership & Management
Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to improve performance and productivity.
Set individual sales targets and monitor monthly achievement.
Conduct weekly and monthly review meetings with action plans.
4. Tendering & Quotation Oversight
Review tender documents, BOQs, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
Oversee quotation preparation for fire-fighting and fire-alarm projects.
Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining required margins.
5. Coordination With Internal Departments
Work closely with the design, purchase, project, and accounts teams for smooth project conversion.
Provide necessary technical inputs to design and quotation teams.
Follow up with project teams for timely execution updates for client communication.
6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Study market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
Identify potential new sectors, geographies, and technological advancements.
Recommend product/service improvements based on market demand.
7. Contract Negotiation & Closing
Negotiate commercial terms, payment schedules, and project scope with clients.
Finalize and close sales deals ensuring profitability and compliance.
Ensure timely signing of work orders and documentation.
8. Revenue Monitoring & Reporting
Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are met.
Analyze sales data and prepare performance reports for management.
Forecast revenue and pipeline based on enquiry conversion ratios.
9. Branding & Networking
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, seminars, and consultant meets.
Promote the company's product range and capabilities in the fire safety industry.
10. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure sales processes comply with IS standards, NBC guidelines, and statutory requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for tenders, quotes, approvals, and client communication.

Pay: ?800,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
