Job Description


We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Sales Head for Sales of construction equipment ranging from Road, Infrastructure & Concrete solutions. The Sales Head will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and achieve sales targets for our range of construction equipment products. Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company\'s goals and market trends.
  • Set ambitious sales targets and objectives for the sales team.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their potential.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the team.
Market Expansion:
  • Identify New Market Opportunities, target segments, and geographic areas for business expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire new clients.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Sales Process Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor and track sales activities, pipeline, and progress toward targets.
Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our construction equipment products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
Negotiation and Deal Closure:
  • Lead negotiations with clients, addressing pricing, terms, and contractual agreements to secure profitable deals.
  • Ensure all deals adhere to company policies and standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, service, and finance teams to align sales efforts with broader company strategies.
  • Communicate market insights, client feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform product and service enhancements.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Regularly analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master\'s preferred).
  • X+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the construction equipment or heavy machinery industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market opportunities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
