Job Description

This role involves generating quality leads, nurturing affiliate networks, and working closely with management to drive sales conversions and growth.
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive DG Set sales across the assigned territory (Kolkata, North Bengal, or Jharkhand).
  • Identify potential customers and convert DG sales leads from various sectors - industrial, residential, commercial.
  • Regularly visit potential sites like real estate projects, hospitals, factories, and commercial buildings to generate leads.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and act as the first point of contact for all generator-related queries.
  • Coordinate with the technical and service teams to prepare quotations and convert enquiries into orders.
  • Track and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and support the branch in territory growth.
  • Provide timely updates, competitor insights, and customer feedback to the branch manager.

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills; ability to influence decision-makers at project sites and offices.
  • Proactive, energetic, and willing to spend most of the time in the field across the assigned region.
  • Comfortable using MS Excel, WhatsApp, CRM tools, and emails for reporting and follow-ups.
  • Local candidates or those with regional language fluency will be preferred.

Candidates with sales exposure in any of the following industries will be given preference:
  • Diesel Generators / Power Equipment
  • Lift & Elevator Solutions
  • Industrial Cement, Iron, Steel
  • Cables / Electrical Supplies
  • B2B/Project-based Sales

Educational Qualifications
  • Diploma (Electrical/Mechanical) or any Graduate (BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, etc.)
  • Freshers with strong communication skills and passion for field sales may also apply.
