1. Sales & Business Development
Identify, develop and close new business opportunities in mechanical and automation product lines.
Acquire new clients, strengthen relationships with existing clients.
Meet or exceed sales targets (monthly / quarterly / annual).
2. Product Knowledge & Technical Support
Gain deep knowledge of mechanical & automation products (e.g. motors, reducers, gearboxes, PLCs, sensors, drives, actuators, etc.).
Understand customer applications and specify appropriate products or systems.
Assist with product demonstrations, technical presentations, site visits.
3. Quotation, Proposal & Negotiation
Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and technical/commercial offers.
Negotiate terms with customers to maximize company profitability.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Maintain relationships with OEMs, system integrators, end users, vendors.
Provide excellent post?sales support - addressing technical issues, follow?ups.
5. Market & Competition Monitoring
Stay updated on market trends, competitors, new technologies in automation / mechanical domain.
Provide feedback to management about customer needs, product enhancements, price changes.
6. Sales Planning & Reporting
Develop and execute territory / account sales plans.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Forecast sales, prepare regular reports, track performance vs targets.
7. Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, production, logistics, procurement teams to ensure delivery timelines.
Liaise with marketing for promotions, trade shows, catalogs etc.
