Job Summary:
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and other partners. The role focuses on room sales, events, conferences, and banquet business while achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new corporate, travel trade, and leisure business for the hotel
Promote hotel rooms, banquet halls, conferences, meetings, and special packages
Conduct sales calls, client visits, and hotel site inspections
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
Negotiate rates and contracts within approved guidelines
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback
Coordinate with reservations, front office, and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Participate in trade shows, roadshows, and sales events
Monitor competitor activities and market trends
Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred)
1-3 years of sales experience in the hotel or hospitality industry
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet targets
Knowledge of local market and corporate accounts
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage
