The Sales Executive is responsible for generating business for the hotel by actively selling rooms, meeting space, and catering services. This role focuses on maintaining client relationships, securing new accounts, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and a deep understanding of the hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify, solicit, and secure new business opportunities across segments (corporate, leisure, MICE, travel trade, etc.).
Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and hotel tours to promote the property.
Maintain a pipeline of active leads and convert them into confirmed bookings.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, agents, and partners.
Respond to inquiries, RFPs, and follow up on leads in a timely and professional manner.
Provide exceptional service to existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Revenue & Target Achievement:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by management.
Collaborate with Revenue and Marketing teams to align pricing, promotions, and sales campaigns.
Monitor competitors and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Reporting & Administration:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, contracts, and client communications in the CRM system.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and promotional events as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality-related business development.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel CRM/sales systems (e.g., Opera Sales & Catering, Delphi, Salesforce).
