Position: SalesEngineer
Work Location: Bopal- Ambali Road,
Work Timing: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Salary: 30,000 to 60,000 based on experience of candidate
Experience: 3-4 Years in Industrial equipment sales
Qualification: B.E.(Mech)/Chem & MBA Optional
Field Work: Candidate has to do travel within india 12-15 days in month
A sales engineer for process equipment sales is a technical sales professional who combines sales skills with a strong engineering background to sell industrial equipment like Dryers, Evaporators, filters, and process equipment. Their role involves understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions, preparing quotes, and demonstrating how products can meet client requirements. They act as a crucial link between the customer's technical needs and the engineering solutions offered by the company.
Key responsibilities

  • Technical expertise: Assess customer needs and technical requirements, ensuring products meet system needs.
  • Sales and client interaction: Prepare and deliver technical presentations, build client rapport, and help resolve product-related problems.
  • Proposal and quoting: Create technical proposals and quotes based on customer requirements and equipment sizing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with both sales and engineering teams to ensure seamless coordination and support.
  • Market awareness: Stay updated on new products, market trends, and competitor offerings to recommend improvements.
  • Business development: Identify new business opportunities and nurture client relationships, sometimes attending trade shows and industry events.
Required qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline like Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering is typically required. An MBA or PGDM in Marketing or Sales can also be beneficial.
  • Experience: Experience in technical sales or process engineering, preferably with industrial or capital equipment, is essential.
  • Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are critical, as is a solid technical understanding of the products being sold.
  • Other: The role often requires a willingness to travel and may need a self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
  • Industries: Sales engineers for process equipment can work in various sectors, including chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, food and beverage, and water treatment.
