OVERVIEW

We are looking for a sales analyst to join our team. The sales analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing sales and market data and providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide our promotional and sales activities.

To be successful as a sales analyst you should be able to analyze large amounts of data, accurately project sales trends, identify sales opportunities, and provide practical guidance to optimize sales strategies and increase market share.

The Work
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data.
  • Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales, account management and marketing teams.
  • Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating DnA performance. Against sales strategy/ vision
  • Forecasting demand, revenue, contribution and expenses.
  • Determining sales potential and making recommendations.
  • Support activities related to lead conversion
  • Reporting and reconciliation of bookings/orders, opportunities, etc.
  • Ensuring 99+% KPI success rate
  • Improve and maintain account and opportunity data hygiene
  • Resolving sales queries based on various process workflows logical thinking
  • Create and develop a Standard Operating Procedures, uphold documentation (Knowledge Management) integrity
  • Participate and lead process improvement/optimization initiatives
  • Helping businesses by synthesizing external/internal data and clearly communicating these to stakeholders.
  • Train DnA team members on sales processes to strengthen our relationship and presence with market
  • Gather and analyze data in order to understand problems and address them proactively
  • Manage, conduct and continually develop the onboarding program for new and existing DnA employees
  • Conduct an analysis of current skills, processes, knowledge and processes to and work with the sales leadership team to identify strengths and areas for development for DnA
  • Advise on ways to improve a company's profitability
Leadership

You will be reporting to Senior Manager, Engagement and work closely with DnA Leadership and commercial leadership teams in Bangalore and in other markets

Qualifications, Experience & Must-Have Skills
  • Degree in business administration, finance, or marketing.
  • Experience in sales analysis.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in MSFT office , SFDC and any other CRM software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Projection and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • At least 4-5 year's experience working in sales analyst, or a similar role.
  • Strong Knowledge of Sales Cycle and its requirements.
  • Extensive experience in working with Salesforce CRM.
  • Hands on knowledge of Salesforce data loader.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Results and detail oriented with the ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable to process changes.
  • Intermediate level MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.) required.
  • Experience of working with LeanData or equivalent tool would be preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to analyse a high volume of technical data and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Must have strong SaaS and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IFAND etc.)

  • Must have an eye for and a comprehensive understanding of "the detail", but hold the ability to crystallise it into a coherent message or story

  • Must be committed to learning and innovating, delivering new and interesting ways to report "the numbers"
  • Regular interaction with non-financial staff through-out the business is essential and so prior experience of working within an advertising / similar organisation is advantageous.

  • Capable of understanding business requirements, business processes and systems analysis, data analysis, systems development methodologies, business/technical liaising and workflow
