About the department

Global IT India is a team of 800+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of Global IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Commercial IT department is an integral part of the Global IT Organization within GBS India and is responsible for delivering projects and managing systems for Sales, Marketing, Medical & Market Access teams. In Global IT, we drive projects, manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk.

The position

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the Operations and Maintenance of Frontline Incentive system from Data standpoint. You will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring system operation requests/incidents are handled timely within agreed SLA's, understand the business requirements from the stakeholders by analyzing, transforming data sets and manage the expectations of customers, system owners and other key stakeholders concerning the use of the IT systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams within and outside Commercial IT. A high degree of flexibility and quality delivery while transforming data sets is expected.
  • Ensure that the change management processes are followed correctly.
  • Demonstrate excellent business and system understanding, pro-activeness and high degree of ownership. You will be responsible for driving/participate in activities related to implementation of system enhancements.
  • Providing ITIL related support, including change/release and problem management as well as enhancing good team spirit and high degree of knowledge sharing. You will be responsible for communicating and collaborating closely with the key stakeholders including follow-up on deliverables and services according to agreements.
Qualifications
  • Graduate having bachelor's or graduate's degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc), Engineering (B. Tech), Statistics.
  • Good to have master's degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute.
  • Good academic track records and grades.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Pharma consulting industry especially in Incentive Compensation under Commercial Operations, IT, or other data analytics related functions.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience while working with various data sets required for Incentive calculation like Employee, CRM, Leave of Absence, Sales, Target, Forecast, etc.).
  • More than 1 year of experience with Sales Incentive Tool in the market (Axtria SalesIQ would be a plus).
  • Technical skills - Basic AWS and S3 knowledge to post and retrieve files; Advanced excel skill to prep, manipulate, and load data; Oracle database query skill to respond to inquiry of historical archived data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products; Knowledge in Pharma business processes, including sales incentive tool experience and alignment; Learn and work with analytical tools like AWS, Informatica, etc.
  • Deliver high quality results while working with data sets.
  • Understand the criticality of work ultimately impacts payout to Frontline.
  • Should have worked in aggressive timelines.
  • Flexible with work timings.
  • Team Collaboration (working in multiple vendor partner setup).
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.
