Job Description

A sales associate greets customers, provides product information, and assists them in finding suitable products to drive sales. Key responsibilities also include processing transactions, maintaining the store's appearance and organization, managing inventory, and handling customer inquiries or complaints. Core duties

Customer interaction

: Welcome customers, engage in conversation to understand their needs, and provide expert advice on products and services.

Sales and service

: Actively sell products, suggest complementary items (upselling), and help customers make purchasing decisions.

Transaction management

: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments, handle returns, and issue receipts accurately.

Store operations

: Keep the sales floor clean, well-organized, and visually appealing. Restock shelves, create displays, and assist with inventory management.

Product knowledge

: Stay up-to-date on product features, current promotions, and store policies to answer customer questions effectively.

Problem-solving

: Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
