To provide excellent customer service to international and domestic tourists by assisting them in selecting quality products, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience, and achieving sales targets in a boutique specializing in foreign goods, leather items, bags, and handicrafts.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers warmly, especially foreign tourists, understanding their needs and preferences.
Explain product features, quality, origin, leather type, and care instructions.
Promote and sell imported goods, leather bags, wallets, belts, and fashion accessories.
Handle billing, cash, card and digital payments accurately.
Maintain proper display of merchandise to attract customers.
Keep the shop clean, organised, and visually appealing.
Pack products neatly and securely for travel-friendly handling.
Handle customer queries, returns, and exchanges politely.
Assist in stock checking, tagging, and inventory updates.
Report low stock, damages, or fast-moving items to the manager.
Ensure anti-theft and safety measures are followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Good communication skills in
English
(must); knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage.
Pleasant personality with a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
Ability to deal with international customers professionally.
Basic knowledge of sales, billing, and handling cash/card payments.
Understanding of leather products and fashion accessories is preferred.
Computer / POS billing knowledge is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum
1-2 years
experience in retail, boutique, or tourist-area shops preferred.
Freshers with good English and selling ability may also be considered.
Working Hours
As per shop timings and tourist flow (including weekends and peak seasons).
