Sales Responsibilities



Strategic Sales Planning:

To develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets. This includes setting sales goals, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating sales forecasts.

Team Management and Training:

To recruit, train, and mentor the sales team. To provide ongoing training to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management skills.

Customer Relationship Management:

To maintain strong relationships with key clients, such as optometrists, ophthalmologists, and optical retail chains.

Market Analysis and Expansion:

To analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. This includes exploring new regions, product lines, or customer segments to expand the company's market share.

Pricing and Negotiations:

The manager is responsible for setting competitive pricing strategies and negotiating contracts with large clients to ensure profitability.

Marketing Responsibilities



Marketing Strategy Development:

To create and implement a marketing plan that aligns with the overall business objectives. This includes defining the brand's unique selling proposition (USP) and targeting specific customer segments.

Brand Management:

The manager is the steward of the company's brand, ensuring consistency in all marketing materials and communications. They work to build brand awareness and a positive reputation in the industry.

Product Marketing:

This involves launching new optical lens products, developing promotional materials, and creating messaging that highlights the technical features and benefits of the lenses to both B2B and B2C audiences.

Digital and Traditional Marketing:

To oversee a variety of marketing channels, which can include digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) and traditional methods (trade shows, print advertising, industry publications).

Market Research:

To conduct research to understand customer needs, preferences, and feedback. This information is crucial for product development and for refining marketing and sales strategies.
