Job Description

Policy & Planning

: Develop and update site-specific safety plans, procedures, and emergency response protocols.

Inspections & Audits

: Regularly inspect sites for hazards, equipment safety, correct PPE usage, and compliance with safety standards (OSHA, etc.).

Training & Education

: Conduct daily briefings (toolbox talks) and formal training for workers on safe practices, hazard recognition, and emergency procedures.

Compliance

: Monitor adherence to all relevant safety laws, codes, and regulations, acting as a liaison with regulatory bodies.

Incident Management

: Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Hazard Control

: Identify and mitigate risks, especially those common in construction, such as falls, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials.

Documentation

: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, training, incidents, and safety audits
