Jump on-board. Hugh safety culture supported top down. Our Safety Manager is part of an existing, high-powered and actively deployed safety program! This position supports the business by monitoring and administering driver safety policies, OSHA and DOT programs and training. Requires working knowledge of federal and state vehicle/ driving safety laws, OSHA safety and the ability to identify and evaluate hazards. This position provides day-to-day tactical support to our branches by conducting inspections as well as providing guidance and training on safety issues. This position may be based in Omaha, NE; Des Moines, IA; or Sioux Falls, SD . Depending on where this position is based, overnight travel is required 50%-75% of the time to branches throughout the Midwest. A company car is provided. We Are Looking For People With The Following Qualifications Strong communication skills - verbal, written. Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office. Ability to successfully work independently. Bachelor\'s degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. As well as three years of safety/fleet and risk management experience with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory agencies.
