Job Description

The Room Sales Executive is responsible for generating room sales revenue by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, and promoting the hotel's rooms and packages. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets through corporate accounts, travel agents, OTAs, and direct bookings.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Revenue Generation



Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other business partners. Actively seek new business opportunities to increase room sales and occupancy. Respond promptly to room booking inquiries and prepare quotations or proposals. Negotiate room rates and packages within the hotel's pricing structure to maximize revenue. Meet or exceed monthly and annual room sales targets.

Client Relationship Management



Ensure personalized and efficient service to clients for room bookings. Conduct regular client visits, calls, and follow-ups to maintain strong business relationships. Handle client queries, complaints, and requests professionally.

Coordination & Execution



Work closely with the Front Office, Reservations, and Revenue Management teams to ensure smooth booking processes. Monitor room inventory and ensure accurate updates in the system. Assist in planning and executing promotional activities and sales campaigns.

Reporting & Market Analysis



Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management. Analyze competitor pricing, occupancy trends, and market demand to support pricing strategies. Provide input for creating attractive packages and offers to boost room sales.

Skills & Competencies:



Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong sales and persuasive abilities. Good understanding of hotel operations, particularly reservations and revenue management. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of PMS (Property Management System) & CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in room sales or front office sales role in a hotel. Knowledge of local corporate market and travel trade preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
