• Design, develop and test sensor fusion and calibration algorithms to integrate IMU data, wheel odometry data, camera data, and GPS data to create accurate and reliable localization and mapping systems for agricultural robots.
• Collaborate with robotics engineers and data scientists to ensure the seamless integration of sensor fusion and calibration algorithms into the robot control system.
• Conduct testing and validation of the sensor fusion and calibration algorithms in both lab and field environments.
• Work with software engineers to integrate the sensor fusion and calibration algorithms into our existing software architecture.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure high-quality code and robust software development practices.
• Understanding of engineering principles and a clear understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to drive a project from conception to completion, research papers to code with disciplined approach to software development on Linux platform
• Optimize runtime performance of designed models.
• Deploy models to production and monitor performance and debug inaccuracies and exceptions.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members in India and abroad for the fulfillment of your duties and organizational objectives.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to own the project end to end with minimum hand holding
• Learn & adapt new technologies & skillsets
• Work on projects independently with timely delivery & defect free approach.
• Thesis focusing on the above skill set may be given more preference.

What kind of person are we looking for? We are seeking a talented and experienced Agricultural Robotics Engineer to join our team. As an expert in sensor fusion and calibration, you will be responsible for integrating and fusing IMU data, wheel odometry data, camera data, and GPS data to create accurate and reliable localization and mapping systems for our agricultural robots. You will be working closely with a team of robotics engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and test the sensor fusion and calibration algorithms that will drive our robots' localization and mapping capabilities. More practical skills needed:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Necessary Skills: Python, C++, Boost, ROS, Computer Vision, Robotics, OpenCV.
• Academic experience for freshers in Vision for Robotics is preferred.
• Software development experience on low-power embedded platforms is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in robotics and sensor fusion and calibration.
• Expertise in IMU data, wheel odometry data, camera data, and GPS data integration and fusion.
• Experience with SLAM, localization, and mapping algorithms is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
