The Team: We are an internal facing team that is at the core of Amazon's Just Walk Out Technology that powers Amazon Go. Go introduces a new retail shopping paradigm with no lines and no checkout. You simply use the Amazon Go app to enter the store, take what you want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and go. Our checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by the same types of technologies used in self-driving cars: computer vision, sensor fusion, and deep learning.

The Role: As a Product Manager (Technical), you will use a combination of outstanding leadership, thought clarity, analytical skills, cross-functional partnership, business model analysis, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of our customers. You thrive on working with cutting-edge technology and have a strong understanding of scaling operations and ML/AI. You also have a proven track record of owning and delivering world-class experiences to internal customers that raise-the-bar from an innovation, usability, and design perspective. Lastly, you deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment and are highly comfortable exercising fantastic judgment across a spectrum of highly diverse problems.

• Lead the development of the product vision, strategy and roadmap
• Create consensus for the product vision both internally and with key dev and research science partners
• Work closely with software engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver features
• Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning
• Actively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
• Strong attention to detail and end-to-end ownership
• Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities
• Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

· MBA or Advanced Degree · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field, or UX field · Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven and fast-pace work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. · Demonstrated ability to turn customer needs and pain points into innovative products. · Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners. · Exceptional passion for delivering world-class customer experiences.
