  • A career in the One Firm Risk Organization (OFRO), within Internal Firm Services, is an opportunity to help PwC professionals within our organization manage compliance responsibilities while reducing firm risk. You will conduct regulatory, legal, reputational and integrity related due diligence on prospective and existing clients. ADS senior is responsible for preparing background assessment reports for use by PwC Partners and OFRO leadership in making client acceptance & continuance decisions

  • Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
    • Performing background investigation on entities and individuals, with special focus on identifying adverse information such as fraud, securities law violations and settlements, management and accounting issues, business failures, regulatory matters, reputation and integrity concerns, criminal charges and legal actions such as lawsuits, bankruptcies, liens and judgements;
    • Demonstrating experience with due diligence research, including an understanding of Boolean logic;
    • Utilizing database and Online Research experience across News, Regulatory, Legal and SEC sources- proficiency with Factiva, Edgar, Lexis Advance, Diligence and CourtLink, World Compliance and PACER;
    • Implementing critical l and creative approach to research;
    • Utilizing writing and editing skills;
    • Understanding, synthesizing and distilling large amounts of disparate information into brief, concise practical intelligence;
    • Showcasing ability to evaluate and prioritize research findings;
    • Understanding of Business, Government, Regulatory and Legal landscape;
    • Exhibiting enthusiasm to acquire new skills and knowledge in order to support decision making;
    • Maintaining quality within demanding, fast paced professional services environment;
    • Reviewing research strategies and reports of colleagues for quality and providing effective, actionable feedback;
    • Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently, to and/or for all levels within PwC;
    • Managing projects; and,
    • Developing self and others through coaching.
