Role: Risk Engineer

Reporting to: Head - Commercial underwriting

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 7-14 Yrs

Qualification: B.E (Mechanical/Electrical)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Establishment and Growth of Risk Management Function: The primary responsibility involves initiating and expanding the risk management function within the organization. This includes overseeing both in-house and outsourced risk management services, indicating a strategic approach to building a comprehensive risk management framework.

Client Engagement for Risk Management: The candidate is expected to drive risk management practices and suggestions with clients. This suggests a client-centric approach in understanding and addressing their risk profiles, aligning risk management strategies with client needs, and fostering collaborative risk mitigation efforts.

Supporting Underwriting for Optimal Risk Selection: The role extends support to the underwriting process with the aim of achieving the best risk selection. This involves implementing effective processes and mechanisms that contribute to informed decision-making in underwriting, highlighting a focus on risk assessment and selection.

Leadership in Value-Added Services (VAS) Activities: The candidate is tasked with anchoring Value-Added Services (VAS) activities for sales. This encompasses introducing innovative practices and procedures, indicating a proactive approach to enhancing the overall value proposition for clients through additional services beyond core offerings.
