Role & Responsibilities

Sales Planning:

GTM Support: Identify opportunities to drive revenue, such as go-to-market strategies, tactics to streamline the customer lifecycle, and potential sales process improvements

Industry research and assist in growth of the first 5 accounts in every new vertical
Ideal Customer Profile development
Target Account list build
Customer Organization Chart development with key influencers and decision makers identified
Account Segmentation (i.e. SMB, MM, Enterprise, Commercial, Strategic, Named, Emerging, etc.)

Sales Process:
Create structures, processes, best practices, and guidance on how sales reps can spend more time selling and less on non-revenue-generating, labor-intensive tasks.
Define Sales cadence & operating rhythm - frequency, depth, format. Deal management:
Sales stages
Sales milestones
Action items & exit criteria
Forecast categories
Data enrichment (company, contact, intent) and assist in running outreach campaigns/ flows

Sales Productivity:
Define and Measure KPIs. Manage dashboards and build revenue forecasts so teams can easily understand business health and meet goals.
Identify sales opportunities by analyzing sales data, re-visiting dead/ lost deals etc.
Expert user of sales systems and data administration, and recommend tools to improve data quality, analysis, and reporting
Provide usage and effectiveness of sales tools
Field Marketing
Assist in creating sales collaterals as well as provide inputs to RFPs, SOWs etc.
Account Research/ Sales Support

Deal Desk:
Deal structuring - deal strategy, commercial terms, pricing, discounts, payment terms, services, etc.
Paper - quotes, contracts, SOWs, order forms, RFI/RFP, etc
Central hub for sales rep (internal support)
Legal (redlines, language)
Finance (terms, pricing, pymt terms)
Services (SOWs, implementation plan)
Value/ Solution Eng (discovery, valueprop, technical)
Security (data and security reviews)
Marketing (customer references, stories)
Product (compatibility, features)
Booking Desk
Final review of all paper and terms, close the deal
Standard terms & contract guidelines
Delegation & approval

Strategy and Organization:
Special project execution
Cross-functional representation - Work with Product and Customer Service on improving customer satisfaction and gaining visibility into product performance.

Skillset:
4-5 years of previous B2B/ Enterprise SaaS experience preferred in revenue operations or management consulting
2-3 years after MBA from renowned university - Recommended
Bachelors related to IT and/ or experience
Past Analyst in I-banking recommended
Expert Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales engagement tools, and other technologies
Analytical skills: Ability to track metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze them, and turn them into actionable strategies.
All hands on deck approach
Strong ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Cost of customer acquisition, Win rates, Renewals and upsells, Customer churn, ACV + Customer lifetime value
Forecast accuracy
Average conversion rate, average sale cycle length, Pipeline efficiency, ACV, Forecast precision
