For more information, visit NIQ.com.At NielsenIQ, a Revenue associate administers, reviews and validates sales contracts to recognize revenue and establishes a billing plan in accordance with Global and Regional policies and procedures. Partners with relevant Client Service teams to drive USGAAP & statutory compliance. Supports all other revenue and billing processes including periodic book closing and reconciliations.RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister sales contract and order processing for the respective country in coordination with Client Service
\xe2\x97\x8f Prepare billing runs and perform month-end activities related to revenue and receivables
\xe2\x97\x8f Work with Revenue Controlling team to support their deliverables, including:
\xe2\x97\x8f Customer invoicing, credit management, and customer credit verification
\xe2\x97\x8f Accounts Receivable management including cash collection and allocation
\xe2\x97\x8f Revenue recognition
\xe2\x97\x8f Support revenue closing activities, including accruals, provisions and reconciliations, are appropriate and accurate and are performed in accordance with US-GAAP/Stat rules, Global COE processes, and together with the Operational Controller
\xe2\x97\x8f Perform revenue recognition in accordance with US-GAAP criteria and maintain relevant documentation for auditing purposes
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure revenue accounting is appropriate and accurate is performed in accordance with US-GAAP
\xe2\x97\x8f Provide regional input on revenue reporting to the Revenue Controller
\xe2\x97\x8f Perform the controls on revenue processes in scope and ensure adequate controllership is maintained at all times; flag to the Revenue Controller in exceptional cases
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure regional statutory compliance related to revenue accounting; monitor and provide guidance on related statutory and tax accounting, reporting, and audit
\xe2\x97\x8f Assist the Revenue Controller locally on IT/Digital projects pertaining to revenue processes (i.e. SAP OTI , Salesforce, Google, etc.) for respective market or region
\xe2\x97\x8f Identify and recommend process improvements to evolve the revenue function
\xe2\x97\x8f Work closely with peer group in the Revenue Controlling COE incl. the hub
\xe2\x97\x8f Link in with FP&A and Consolidation teams on the closing schedule, accounting services, and consolidated accounts, with a specific focus for Revenue-related activities
\xe2\x97\x8f Work with Group Controller on compliance and governance
\xe2\x97\x8f Partner in with Client Service leadership and commercial teamsA LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUA successful Revenue Associate will ensure all basic key performance indicators pertaining to contract processing and revenue accounting are achieved for the respective region. S/he will have built a successful working relationship with the Client Sales Administration team.Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Fluency in English and local language mandatory; third regional language preferred
• Experience working in multinational, multi-cultural environment
• Experience working with remote counterparts
• Experience of 1-2 yrs in Finance & SAP, some legal contract exposure preferred
