Job Description

1. Expansion Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement the annual retail expansion plan across targeted geographies. Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and demographic studies to identify high-potential areas. Recommend formats (mall, high street, kiosk, franchise, etc.) based on market potential.

2. Site Identification & Evaluation

Source and shortlist potential retail locations through brokers, developers, and local networks. Conduct site surveys, footfall analysis, trade area assessment, and catchment studies. Prepare feasibility reports, ROI projections, and business cases for management approval.

3. Negotiation & Finalization

Negotiate commercial terms with landlords/developers including rent, CAM, deposit, lock-in, fit-out period, and revenue share if applicable. Work closely with Legal team to finalize LOIs, lease agreements, and required documentation.

4. Project Management & Store Development

Coordinate with designers, architects, vendors, and contractors for layout finalization and store build-out. Ensure all approvals (municipal, mall management, permissions) are obtained on time. Track project timelines, budget adherence, and monitor on-ground project execution.

5. New Store Opening

Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, and HR teams for seamless store opening. Ensure brand standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and operational readiness are met. Conduct post-opening reviews and handover to the Operations team.

6. Portfolio Management

Monitor existing store performance and recommend relocations, right-sizing, closures, or remodels. Maintain database of all store leases, expiries, renewals, and rental escalations.

7. Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with mall management teams, real estate developers, property consultants, and franchise partners. Represent the company in real estate forums, exhibitions, and networking events.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?350,000.00 per month
