Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement & Sales

Consultative Selling:

Proactively approaching customers to offer help, identifying their needs, and recommending specific products.

Product Knowledge:

Staying up-to-date on features, benefits, warranties, and prices to answer customer queries confidently.

Upselling & Cross-selling:

Suggesting complementary items (e.g., matching socks for shoes) or higher-end alternatives to meet sales targets.

Loyalty Programs:

Encouraging customers to sign up for store memberships or newsletters.

2. Store Maintenance & Merchandising

Visual Standards:

Keeping shelves tidy, folding clothes, and ensuring displays are attractive and follow brand guidelines.

Restocking:

Monitoring stock levels on the floor and bringing out new items from the stockroom as needed.

Pricing & Tagging:

Ensuring all items are correctly priced and that promotional signage is accurate and visible.

3. Point of Sale (POS) & Operations

Transactions:

Processing payments (cash, card, gift cards) and handling returns or exchanges according to store policy.

Loss Prevention:

Being vigilant on the shop floor to minimize shoplifting and reporting any suspicious behavior.

Inventory Support:

Assisting with stocktakes (counting inventory) and processing new deliveries.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
