Job Description

Hotel Aida which is Kottayam's most iconic hotel is looking to hire restaurant waiters to work in our fine dining restaurant called Theos inside Hotel Aida.
The job involves providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling payments, and ensuring satisfaction, all while coordinating with kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

Greet customers warmly, escort them to tables, explain specials, answer menu questions, and offer recommendations.

Order Management:

Take accurate food and drink orders, input them into POS systems, and relay them to kitchen/bar staff.

Service Delivery:

Deliver food and beverages promptly, check in with guests after courses, and refill drinks.

Table Maintenance:

Clear dirty dishes, clean tables, reset settings, and keep the dining area tidy and welcoming.

Payment Processing:

Handle customer payments efficiently, process bills, and manage change.

Team Coordination:

Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and resolve any issues.

Health & Safety:

Follow all hygiene and food safety regulations.

Problem Solving:

Address customer complaints or concerns to ensure a positive experience.
Essential Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Positive attitude and problem-solving abilities. Requires standing, walking, and working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualification: Min 1 year diploma in Hotel Management
