Job Summary



We are looking for a professional and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team. You will be the face of the restaurant, responsible for greeting guests, taking accurate orders, and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities



1. Guest Interaction & Service



Greeting & Seating:

Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.

Menu Expertise:

Provide detailed information on menus, including ingredients, potential food allergies, and daily specials.

Order Management:

Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system or order pads.

Customer Satisfaction:

Check in with guests during their meal to ensure they are satisfied and address any issues promptly.

2. Food & Beverage Delivery



Coordination:

Relay order details to the kitchen and bar staff clearly and efficiently.

Service:

Deliver meals and drinks to the correct tables while the food is still fresh and at the right temperature.

Upselling:

Suggest appetizers, desserts, or drink pairings to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

3. Operations & Maintenance



Table Preparation:

Set up tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware before service.

Cleaning:

Clear dirty plates, glasses, and silverware as guests finish and reset tables for the next party.

Closing Duties:

Perform "sidework" such as restocking condiments, rolling silverware, and cleaning service stations.

4. Financial Transactions



Billing:

Present accurate checks and process payments (cash, credit cards, or digital wallets).

Cash Handling:

Manage change and tips with high accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Soft SkillsTechnical & Physical SkillsCommunication:

Clear and polite verbal skills.

POS Systems:

Experience with digital ordering tools.

Multitasking:

Handling 5-6 tables simultaneously.

Math:

Basic numeracy for billing and change.

Problem Solving:

Resolving complaints calmly.

Stamina:

Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours.

Teamwork:

Supporting kitchen and bar staff.

Food Safety:

Knowledge of hygiene regulations.
