Job Summary: As a Restaurant Steward, your primary responsibility is to ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests by efficiently managing order-taking, food delivery, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. You will play a crucial role in upholding service standards, contributing to a positive atmosphere, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Order Taking: Greet and welcome guests, assist with menu selections, and take accurate orders. Ensure clear communication of special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff. Food Service: Efficiently deliver orders to tables with attention to presentation and timing Provide prompt and courteous service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. Table Maintenance: Set up tables before service and ensure they are clean, organized, and properly set. Monitor and replenish table condiments, utensils, and napkins as needed. Customer Interaction: Maintain a friendly and attentive demeanor, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any issues. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Clear and clean tables after guests depart, ensuring a quick turnaround for new customers. Collaborate with cleaning staff to maintain overall cleanliness in the dining area. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.
