The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role requires attentiveness, good communication skills, and a customer-first attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and assist them in seating.
Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., portions, ingredients).
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
Ensure tables are clean, properly set up, and maintained throughout service.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns courteously.
Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain overall dining area cleanliness.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
Follow all hygiene, grooming, and service standards as per company policy.
Assist in billing, cash handling, and closing duties when required.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience as a Server/Waiter in a reputed restaurant or hotel (freshers with good attitude may also apply).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pleasant personality and professional grooming.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of POS systems preferred.
