Job Overview

We are hiring a Restaurant Podium Manager for THE PIANO MAN, a renowned jazz club and restaurant located in New Delhi, India. As a Podium Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is a full-time position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Podium Manager or in a similar role in the restaurant industry
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Proficient in using reservation management software
• Knowledge of cash handling and POS systems
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Manage the restaurant\'s front desk operations, including welcoming and seating guests
• Ensure smooth and efficient flow of guests, managing waitlists, and coordinating with the waiting staff
• Provide excellent customer service by promptly attending to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
• Maintain a clean and organized podium area, including managing reservations and maintaining guest records
• Assist in training and supervising podium staff to ensure a high level of professionalism and service
• Coordinate with the kitchen and waiting staff to ensure accurate wait times and efficient table turnover
• Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the management team to implement new procedures and enhance guest satisfaction
• Monitor and evaluate podium performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Stay updated with industry trends and competitors\' offerings to provide recommendations for improvement
