The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service, excellent guest experiences, and efficient team performance. This role demands a strong leader who can balance operational excellence with team motivation, cost management, and adherence to brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:Operations & Service
Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service at all times.
Monitor dining areas, kitchen, and bar to ensure smooth coordination.
Manage table reservations, guest flow, and special requests efficiently.
Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff (F&B Executives, Captains, Servers, Runners, Hostesses).
Conduct regular briefings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
Create a positive and motivating work environment focused on teamwork and guest service.
Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance, grooming, and discipline.
Financial Management
Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profitability.
Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering to minimize wastage and pilferage.
Ensure compliance with cost control measures and budget targets.
Assist in preparing monthly P&L reports and performance analysis.
Compliance & Brand Standards
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and FSSAI guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the restaurant.
Uphold brand presentation, uniform standards, and service protocols.
Marketing & Promotions
Coordinate with marketing teams for promotions, events, and influencer activities.
Assist in implementing loyalty programs, social media engagement, and festive campaigns.
Maintain positive public relations with guests and local partners.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in Hospitality Management or equivalent preferred.
3-6 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in POS systems and MS Office.
Excellent knowledge of F&B operations and guest service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
