Job Description


Summary To assist the F&B Manager in running a smooth F&B operation in providing cutting edge F&B concepts & hospitality to guests as per international standards, thereby maximizing F&B revenues & guest satisfaction in an atmosphere of high employee morale. Location - Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai Responsibilities Maintains optimum sales volume and strives to achieve sales objectives set forth by the Management for the department. Organizes and develops the restaurant teams by constant motivation and training in order to provide highest levels of guest satisfaction. Ensures that Food & Beverage Sales and Control Procedures are followed as prescribed by the Management. Handles guest complaints and does detailed glitch analysis to ensure no repeats. Prepares staff budgets, sales volume forecasts and profit targets. Optimizes seating capacity by constantly monitoring reservation status and professionally allocating tables. Works with Food and Beverage Service Manager to determine menus and prices. Ensures guest histories are maintained and updated on a daily basis. Proposes and participates in advertising, promotions and marketing efforts for the outlet and ensures seamless execution of each promotion Proposes changes in policies and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service level. Takes feedback from long stay and repeat guest are followed. Ensures all the staff in the department are fully trained through constant on-the-job training to ensure warm, efficient and unobtrusive service. Ensures attendance on behavioral and vocational training programs, and personally conducts key training for employees in the outlet. Ensures par stocks of all CGS items as well as general and beverage stores are maintained. Strict control on all beverage inventories. Ensures breakages and spoilages are kept in control. Liaises with finances directly for all queries. Ensures highest levels of hygiene in all areas and equipment maintenance. Qualifications At least 2 years\' of experience as full-service restaurant manager Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to cover shifts as needed Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hospitality educational qualification Thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage product and Food and Beverage Service.
