The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant floor operations, ensuring smooth service, maintaining high guest satisfaction, and supporting the service team. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day floor operations during service hours.
Ensure high standards of guest service, hospitality, and satisfaction.
Manage staff allocation and shift planning for servers, runners, and captains.
Monitor table turn-around time, cleanliness, and overall ambience.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely food & beverage service.
Handle guest complaints calmly and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure staff follow grooming standards and service protocols.
Assist in staff training and development to maintain service quality.
Check billing accuracy, cash handling, and POS entries when required.
Maintain hygiene and safety as per company and FSSAI standards.
Support management in daily reporting and operational tasks.
Requirements
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role (Casual / Fine Dining restaurant preferred).
Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Good knowledge of restaurant service standards and operations.
Basic computer skills (POS, billing software).
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
