Job Title: Restaurant Cashier Reports To: General Manager Job Summary: The restaurant cashier is responsible for accurately processing payments made by customers and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate must be friendly, hospitable, good at multitasking and have excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers upon arrival, answer questions and provide information about the restaurant menu
- Ring up purchases accurately and handle cash, checks and credit card payments
- Calculate and return change to customers in a timely manner
- Resolve customer complaints or issues as necessary
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shift to ensure that amounts are correct and there is sufficient change
- Keep the cash register area clean and organized
- Assist with other tasks, such as welcoming guests, taking orders or serving food when necessary
- Follow all restaurant policies and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills for accurate counting of money
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is an added advantage
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, reaching, and stooping
- Busy and sometimes noisy restaurant environment
- May work irregular hours, nights, or weekends
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Faridabad, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
