Key Responsibilities:Guest Service:
Greet and welcome guests professionally and courteously
Assist in seating arrangements and ensure guest comfort
Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
Make menu suggestions, explain dishes, and upsell items (combos, specials, beverages)
Ensure timely serving of food and drinks
Handle guest feedback or complaints and resolve issues professionally
Team Supervision:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of stewards and waiters
Assign sections and tables to staff during each shift
Ensure tables are set as per SOPs and cleanliness is maintained at all times
Monitor staff grooming, behavior, and service quality
Provide on-the-job training to junior team members
Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate between kitchen, service, and cashier teams for efficient order flow
Ensure accurate billing and POS entries
Monitor inventory of service items like cutlery, crockery, and linens
Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily reporting and floor operations
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in food & beverage service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
Strong knowledge of food service operations and multi-cuisine menus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership abilities and a positive attitude
Well-groomed and guest-friendly personality
Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Certification in Hotel Management or F&B Service (preferred)
Fluency in Hindi and basic spoken English
Experience in cafes, casual dining, or family restaurants is an advantage
Work Schedule:
Rotational shifts (Lunch / Dinner)
Must be available on weekends and public holidays
