The Restaurant Captain is responsible for leading the service team and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. This role includes supervising staff, maintaining service quality, and assisting with daily restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Supervise and guide waiters, runners, and service staff during operations.
Coordinate between the kitchen and service team for smooth food and beverage service.
Check table setup, cleanliness, and overall dining area presentation.
Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints promptly and politely.
Conduct daily briefings to inform staff about menu items and special promotions.
Ensure all service standards and hygiene practices are followed.
Assist with billing and closing of guest checks.
