Job Summary:

We are looking for a confident and service-oriented

Restaurant Captain

to lead the service team and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. The Restaurant Captain acts as a liaison between the guests, service staff, and kitchen, ensuring service excellence, staff coordination, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and ensure a high-quality dining experience. Supervise service staff, assign duties, and ensure standards of service are met. Take reservations, manage table allocation, and ensure smooth seating. Take orders and serve food and beverages when required. Coordinate between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely service. Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly. Train and guide junior service staff in etiquette, upselling, and menu knowledge. Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the dining area. Monitor guest satisfaction and act on feedback. Follow and enforce compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Captain/Team Leader in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Good command of English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus). High school diploma or equivalent; formal hospitality training is an advantage.
