Cafe Karmaa Dairies/ Punjabi Khadai is hiring an experienced and professional Restaurant Captain who can confidently handle guest service, maintain smooth coordination with the kitchen, and work closely with the service team. Strong knowledge of European, Chinese, and Indian cuisines is required.
Key Responsibilities
Handle the allocated service section with responsibility and confidence
Greet guests, take orders, recommend dishes, and ensure smooth service
Accurate KOT reading and coordination as per roster
Assist in kitchen operation handling during busy hours
Maintain clear communication between service and kitchen teams
Collect guest feedback and ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain table setup, hygiene, and SOP service standards
Upsell dishes, beverages, specials, and combos
Basic bar knowledge (cocktails, mocktails, spirits)
Work along with the service team to deliver seamless guest experience
Guide and support junior staff in improving service quality
Monitor food dispatch: portioning, plating, and timely service
Assist in billing accuracy and closing duties when required
Requirements
5 to 8 years of experience in restaurant service
Strong knowledge of European, Chinese & Indian cuisines
Excellent communication and guest-handling skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Disciplined, punctual, and team-oriented professional
Salary
As per experience and industry standards
