Greet, seat, and bid farewell to guests; answer menu questions; offer recommendations (upselling); handle complaints; and ensure prompt, courteous service.
Staff Supervision:
Lead, train, and schedule servers; assign tasks; monitor service quality; and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
Operations Management:
Oversee table settings, coordinate with kitchen/bar, manage reservations, handle billing, and ensure cleanliness and safety.
Menu & Product Knowledge:
Maintain expert knowledge of food, beverages, and presentation standards.
Problem Solving:
Address unexpected guest needs and resolve issues tactfully and efficiently.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of F&B service, health/safety, and hotel policies.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and train new staff.
