Job Summary:

We are looking for a confident and service-oriented

Restaurant Captain

to supervise and lead the service team. The Captain will be responsible for ensuring smooth floor operations, managing guest experience, handling guest feedback, and coordinating between the kitchen and service teams to maintain high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests courteously and manage table assignments. Supervise stewards/waiters and assign responsibilities during each shift. Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service. Maintain knowledge of the full menu (multi-cuisine), including specials, combos, and ingredients. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for seamless service delivery. Ensure guests receive exceptional service throughout their visit. Handle guest feedback and resolve any complaints professionally. Monitor cleanliness, table setup, and overall dining area standards. Train and mentor new service staff as per restaurant SOPs. Assist in inventory checks of service equipment, crockery, and cutlery. Ensure proper billing and assist with POS operations when needed. Maintain staff discipline, grooming, and punctuality standards.

Requirements:

2-4 years of experience in food & beverage service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong communication and leadership skills. Excellent knowledge of food service operations (multi-cuisine experience preferred). Ability to multitask and work under pressure during peak hours. Customer-focused with a polite and professional demeanor. Familiarity with POS and billing systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Hotel Management / F&B Service (preferred). Fluency in Hindi; basic English communication required. Experience in casual dining or QSR formats is an added advantage.

Work Schedule:

Rotational shifts (Lunch & Dinner) Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory
