is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily front-of-house operations to ensure excellent guest service. The role includes managing service staff, maintaining service standards, handling guest concerns, and ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
Supervise and coordinate activities of waitstaff to ensure smooth operations.
Take food and beverage orders and ensure timely service delivery.
Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless order execution.
Maintain product knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials.
Train and guide new service staff on SOPs and customer service standards.
Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily opening and closing duties.
Monitor inventory and assist in stock requisition (linens, cutlery, condiments, etc.).
Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
Upsell menu items and promote ongoing offers to maximize revenue.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years' experience in F&B service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and guest handling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in [local language] and basic English (or as required).
Leadership ability and team coordination skills.
Pleasant personality, good grooming, and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
