The Restaurant Captain / Senior Captain is responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service, and leading the service team. The role involves coordinating with kitchen and management to deliver a smooth dining experience while maintaining service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage restaurant service operations during shifts
Ensure high standards of guest service and satisfaction
Brief, guide, and monitor stewards/waiters during service
Take guest orders and ensure accurate and timely service
Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
Coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth order flow
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the restaurant
Assist in staff training and performance monitoring
Ensure compliance with hotel/restaurant SOPs and policies
Support management in achieving service and revenue targets
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team-handling skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Good knowledge of food, beverages, and service etiquette
Ability to handle guest complaints and pressure situations
Attention to detail and service quality
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management (preferred)
Relevant experience in restaurant or hotel service
Experience
Restaurant Captain:
2-4 years in F&B service
Senior Captain:
4-6 years in a supervisory role

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
