Open, follow and close a service (meal period) in assigned restaurant.
To follow the service through the entire guest sequence and organize the team to perform the highest possible service standards in keeping with Company guidelines.
Instruct the team on Company standards and assure they are met.
Perform opening and closing duties and follow opening and closing checklists.
Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu.
Ensure safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements for our guests and staff.
Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints and comments in an efficient manner.
Ensure smooth running of assigned station at all times.
Confer with Restaurant Manager regarding reservations, party arrangements, and last minute details
